Budget for the scripts you will generate, the revisions you expect, and the private voices you need to keep. The video editor works with files on your device; speech generation is what uses credits.

Text to speech
Estimate: 1,000 characters per audio minute. Basic costs 1 credit per 100 characters, Pro 2, Max 4. Each request rounds up. Actual use varies.
$29 / month
1,500 credits included monthly
Each new take has a credit quote in the generator. Finished audio can be replayed or saved again without generating. Subscriptions also provide the private-voice access and model permissions listed in each plan.
Subscribers can add a credit pack without changing the plan. These purchased credits do not expire. They remain available for Basic if the subscription ends; premium models and cloned voices still need the appropriate active plan.
An account starts with 10 credits for Basic, with a 500-character limit per generation before subscribing. Daily check-in can add gift credits, also usable on Basic.
Your plan's allocation is issued monthly and expires when the next allocation arrives, even when you pay annually. Unused plan credits are not carried forward. Eligible plan credits are used before gift and purchased balances.
A failed or unfinished generation restores the credits it used; cancelling after it starts does not. Guests use a separate allowance of three daily attempts per network address, within the shared 100,000-character daily capacity. Signed-in generation draws from account credits instead.
Credit guide
Two projects of the same length can use different amounts of credit. A model choice, a second take, and a new private voice affect different parts of your plan. Use this guide with the estimate above, then check the actual quote in the generator.
Speech costs 1 credit per 100 characters on Basic, 2 on Pro, or 4 on Max. Each request’s total is rounded up to a whole credit. A 101-character request therefore costs 2, 3, or 5 credits. A second take is a new request. Try the difficult passage first, settle the wording, then generate the longer version. Starter offers Basic and Pro; Studio and Enterprise also offer Max. The minutes slider estimates volume and cannot promise a finished duration.
Plan credits are a monthly working allowance, including on annual billing: each issue expires at its next refresh, with no rollover. Gift credits are for Basic. Purchased credits have no expiry; after a subscription ends they can still pay for Basic, but cannot unlock subscriber models or cloned voices. The generator spends eligible plan credits before other balances. Keep your normal workload inside a suitable plan and use a pack when an occasional project runs over.
Starter keeps 1 private voice and permits 2 creations per UTC month; Studio keeps 3 and permits 6; Enterprise keeps 10 and permits 20. Plan the library you need for the next project before recording more references. Deleting a voice makes room in that library but does not replenish the creation counter. An active subscription and the speaker's permission are required for cloning. A credit purchase increases speech capacity rather than either voice allowance.
Annual plans cost $174 for Starter, $594 for Studio, or $1,794 for Enterprise: 50% less than twelve payments at the corresponding monthly rate of $29, $99, or $299. The full annual amount is paid together; credits still refresh monthly. Switching a current plan or billing period requires a new full-price payment, without credit or refund for unused time. The previous subscription ends after confirmation of the new payment. Existing credits retain their original expiry dates.
Try a short Basic draft first. A guest gets up to 500 characters per attempt and three attempts per network address daily, subject to shared site capacity. Signing in uses account credits; a subscription enables up to 10,000 characters per generation on its models. Listen to the passage that matters most, then compare the displayed credit cost with the number of takes you expect in a normal month.
Allow for new generations when you change a script or narrator. Replaying and downloading a completed clip add no charge. Cancelling a generation that has already started still uses credits. If generation fails or finishes incompletely, its credits return to their original balances with the same expiry dates. A refund of credits is not a fresh monthly allowance, so check the balance and dates before trying again.
Use Subscription in your account to open the billing portal and review the renewal date or cancellation status. Confirm the result there after making a change. A return from Stripe alone does not establish that payment succeeded. If the account still shows an unclear result, check billing before starting another checkout, or ask hello@lovoai.app to help trace the payment.
